What is Cosmo Quest?

Cosmo Quest’s goal is to create a community of people who will advance the understanding of the Universe: a community of people who will participate in doing science, who can explain why their work matters, and what questions are they helping to answer. Cosmo Quest wants to create a community, and you’re invited to be a part of it.

What do you do?

In this project, you mark the circumference of the craters and surface features on high-resolution images of Mars, the Moon, asteroids, and Mercury. As all impacts are almost perfect circles, you simply need to outline the crater for all the dimples on an image above a certain size. Asteroid Mappers also provide the option to map boulders on the surface and other features.
