In Cerberus, you are contributing to discover important features on the surface of Mars. The game is in an experimental phase and is part of a research thesis to investigate what is needed in a serious game and what is not. So just by playing you are helping science a great deal. The game will be updated with new features gradually.
What do you do?
As our neighbour, Mars has been a case for many studies. The need to classify the surface of the red planet provides a context for amazing science participation. Mars is not boring at all. Images from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter are divided into segments. You have to classify these segments according to what they show. Do they show small ridges, big dunes, honeycomb structures or other strange objects?
